Our Corporate Advisory Group’s recent transactions include advising: Mineral Resources limited – on the award-winning sale of a 60% interest in its Wodgina Lithium Project to Albemarle in return for US$820m cash and a 40% interest in two lithium hydroxide trains at Albemarle’s Kemerton Project near Bunbury, Western Australia, representing a total transaction value of US$1.3 billion. OZ Minerals Limited – on its acquisition of Cassini Resources Limited by scheme of arrangement, following the demerger by Cassini Resources of non-West Musgrave Project assets to Caspin Resources Limited by scheme of arrangement. Northern Star Resources – global-scale Australian gold producer with Tier-1 world-class projects on its $243 million takeover offer for ASX listed Echo Resources and its Yandal Gold Project. Panoramic Resources Limited – on its response to the hostile takeover bid by Independence Group and concurrent Panoramic equity capital raising initiatives. Sandfire Resources Limited – on its acquisition of ASX and LSE listed MOD Resources for $167 million to establish a presence in the prospective Kalahari Copper belt in Botswana. Desired Skills and Experience The role As a valued member of the Corporate Advisory Group you will work on various matters relating to: mergers, acquisitions and disposals, and related due diligence; IPOs, placements and rights issues; and Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rule compliance issues, including continuous disclosure and corporate governance. About You As our successful candidate you should be able to demonstrate a desire, and the capacity, to work on high profile and technically challenging transactions. You should be an ambitious high performer, looking to work in an environment where your performance will be duly recognised and rewarded accordingly.
