As a senior lawyer within this highly successful team your role will focus on end-to-end M&A work providing strategy, value, and support throughout the transaction process. There is a prominent international dimension to the work, stemming from the diverse nature of their client base and the broad interests and experience of their lawyers. The Mergers and Acquisitions team works across a broad range of sectors, advising both public and private companies on: Recommended takeovers Purchases and sales of companies or their assets. Private equity transactions, including buyouts and buy-ins. Transactions involving reorganisations and demergers. Schemes of Arrangement Restructurings Job Profile Prospective candidates will demonstrate a proven track record in providing high-quality legal advice to flourish in this dynamic working environment. In addition to a strong academic background, candidates will have excellent technical skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a pre-requisite as are organisational and top-rate client care skills. There is a high level of responsibility from the outset, so the candidate will need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic and possess a positive attitude towards the challenges and opportunities of carrying and managing diverse deals. Candidates will be creative legal thinkers who are able to approach matters both from a legal as well as a commercial perspective and inspire the trust and confidence of clients and senior colleagues.
