After a transformational merger, our client is in an exciting phase of further developing their governance and legal framework and they are seeking a Head of Legal to provide overall responsibility for the effective, timely and cost effective provision of legal services to all aspects of the business. Reporting to the Executive Officer, Governance and Risk, you will lead the Legal function across the business, ensuring the overall management and effective operation of the Legal function within the business including providing proactive advice and support to the CEO and Executive Leadership team as required. You will also provide oversight and management of the Legal team as well as the Legal Team budget, developing and coaching Legal team members. In this strategic role, you will develop, improve and innovate methods of delivering legal services and solutions to the business, delivering value and building successful ongoing relationships with key stakeholders. You will be a senior lawyer with at least 10 years’ experience within financial services, funds management or superannuation organisation, including substantial experience leading an in-house legal team and in designing and executing on-house legal team transformation.
