Lawyer (Costs Disputes) 2-3 PAE Ashfield What are we looking for? 2-3rd Year Lawyer (Costs Disputes) | Part-Time Fixed Term 12-month contract | Workers Compensation Practice | Ashfield Office We are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lawyer (2-3 PAE) to join our well-established team in the Ashfield. This role is to manage, resolve and collect costs in accordance with the transfer of files arising from litigation. This role will include supervision of law clerks whilst the files are being physically transferred and engaging and resolving costs disputes. Key to your success in this position will be a previous knowledge of personal injury law, ideally in the workers’ compensation space, together with a proactive, passionate and results driven nature. Your responsibilities will include: Day to day management of a file load Provide clear, practical and concise legal and commercial advice Providing a tailored approach to clients to understand the context of their matter Identifying practical and innovative solutions for clients Continually exploring new opportunities for your practice and developing new business Forging and building strong client relationships What will you bring? Our successful candidate will be a committed and enthusiastic individual who possesses the following: Ideally 2-3 years Post Admission Experience; Previous experience and a passion for Personal Injury law Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills; Exceptional negotiation skills and an ability to communicate effectively and compassionately; Experience in running files end to end Demonstrated skills in effective network and relationship management Ability to exercise judgement and resolve problems quickly Why work for us?
