THE ROLE This Legal Assistant role will be supporting up to Partner level across litigation and insurance. You will offer administrative support and a variety of ad-hoc duties, including the following: Diary management; Editing and formatting documents; Ability to manage client relationships; Drafting and preparing correspondence; Preparation and reconciliation of expenses; Opening and closing of files; and Billing. THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have proven experience working as a Legal Assistant ideally within litigation or workplace relations. On a personal level, you must have excellent communication and organisational skills, with a client service focus. You will be proficient in MS Word and formatting, and have the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, and have exceptional attention to detail. A professional outlook backed by an ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment, whilst demonstrating a positive can-do attitude would see you fit in well with the team.
