The role As the GTDocs Coordinator you will report directly to the Head of GTDocs and leverage your legal and project management experience to provide effective legal service delivery of document reviews and document review related projects across practice groups to clients through enhanced planning, process design, communication, reporting, utilisation of technology and other legal project management methods; as well as assisting in the overall process optimisation of document review processes. More broadly this will involve: Managing, resourcing and engaging in multiple projects concurrently in a high pressure, detail-oriented and fast-paced environment. Development and implementation of strategies, best practice, processes, templates, and high quality documentation for efficient document reviews and efficient, data driven matter management. Working with legal teams and other specialist support teams (including Legal Informatics) to implement the most appropriate management framework for legal matters and scope and price document reviews. Performing matter debriefing and review meetings, and document learnings and incorporate points for future improvement into future matters. Working with clients, lawyers and Legal Informatics to design appropriate reports and reporting frequency, and provide meaningful insights. Proactively exploring new and emerging processes, technologies and delivery models, and tailoring them for the commercial and legal needs of our clients. Desired Skills and Experience About you As a former/current lawyer with either private practice or in-house experience, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Awareness of legal project management and matter management collaboration technology platforms. Broad awareness of core principles in continuous improvement, and design thinking. Broad awareness of eDiscovery technology platforms. Experience in applying legal project management to legal matters. Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to make complex concepts easily accessible to others. Strong attention to detail and a diligent focus on quality and improvement. Ability to prioritise work, manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet agreed deadlines.
