Expressions of Interest Principal Policy Officer – Clerk Grade 11/12 Temporary – 12 Months The ICT/Digital Sourcing team is looking for a Principal Policy Officer to join their team for a 12 month temporary assignment About the role: The primary purpose of the role is to manage whole-of-government procurement policy related to ICT/digital sourcing (ICT procurement). The role is also the owner of the ICT Services Scheme and is primarily responsible for the management of the Scheme including ongoing process improvement and escalated queries. The position also manages mandatory ICT procurement contract templates and collaborates on a number of whole-of-government ICT procurement strategies. The role manages a small team and is responsible for coaching and development of team members. This position also manages stakeholder engagement at a whole-of-government level and with ICT suppliers. The skills/experience required include: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in policy development, government structures, and processes. Sound understanding of the procurement function within an organisation, ideally within a technology environment.
