Senior Criminal Lawyer The Tasmanian Aboriginal Legal Service (TALS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Criminal Lawyer to join our team TALS was established on 1 July 2020, marking the return of ownership of Tasmanian Aboriginal legal services to our communities and state. TALS specialises in criminal, civil and family law. This is a challenging role for TALS that will be based in the Hobart TALS office. The role will focus on complex level case work, dispute resolution and advocacy in Courts and tribunals (including trials without supervision and appeal matters) in a culturally appropriate way. The role will also provide leadership, management, and mentoring support for practitioners across the Hobart TALS legal team. The salary range for the role is from $90k to $105k.
