This role is a unique opportunity for a theatre nurse to work for Australia’s health regulatory body and be part of the section responsible for ensuring that medical devices distributed in Australia continue to meet an appropriate level of quality, safety and performance throughout their lifecycle. As a Medical Device Investigator, you will be responsible for undertaking risk assessments and investigations of medical deviceadverse event reports and product reviews. Your will use your clinical expertise to determine the safety and quality of medical devices and whether they perform as stated by the manufacturer; providing detailed clinical expertise, researching local and international standards; and then assisting with recommendations.
