ABOUT THE POSITION The position is responsible for leading a review of legal and regulatory obligations across the Perth Mint’s enterprise. This will involve a deep dive into prudential management and other operational areas to enable obligation mapping and identification of gaps in policy and procedures. Main Duties & Responsibilities Desktop review of known regulation and legislation that applies to the operations of Perth Mint, both Australian domestic and international. Obligation mapping from the regulations and legislation to the business units and key appointment holders (associated functions). Review of internal policies that capture the related obligations with a heavy focus on the Prudential Management Policy, Privacy Policy, Human Resource Policy and Governance related policies. Work with the Risk Function in ensuring obligations are captured in the Risk and Compliance management platform Review internal systems to determine the effectiveness of process and technology managed controls. Working with internal stakeholder groups, identify opportunities for policy and procedure improvement. Conduct change analysis and change impact assessments and develops and delivers effective change plans where uplift is required. Develop and deliver effective change plans and change reporting in conjunction with the Program Manager to document and communicate change activities. Undertake current and future state gap analysis and assess changes and impacts to ensure that transformation strategy and transition planning meet program objectives, including developing a training strategy. Ensure any reporting employees or contractors, as far as is practicable, are not exposed to hazards either physical or psychological, while working.
